Q: What is the Difference between CPVC and Regular PVC pipe?
CPVC (Chlorinated PVC) contains a higher chlorine content (63–69%) than standard PVC (56.7%). This gives CPVC a significantly higher maximum service temperature of 200°F (93°C) versus PVC’s 140°F (60°C), better chemical resistance, and higher strength at elevated temperatures. CPVC is the material of choice when hot fluids or aggressive chemicals are involved.
Q: What does Schedule 80 mean, and When do I need it Instead of Schedule 40?
Schedule 80 refers to a heavier wall thickness compared to Schedule 40 of the same nominal pipe size. This results in significantly higher pressure ratings. Schedule 80 is recommended for industrial applications, high-pressure lines, and whenever the pipe needs to be threaded (threading Schedule 40 is not recommended). Schedule 80 is also preferred for underground or exposed installations where impact resistance matters.
Q: What Sizes of Pipe and Fittings Can you Supply?
We supply CPVC Schedule 80 pipe from 1/2″ through 24″ in 4-meter standard lengths. Our fitting range (Coupling, Elbow, Tee, Socket Flange, Reducing Tee, Reducer, End Cap, Bushing) covers 1/2″ through 8″. Larger fitting sizes or special configurations — please contact us to discuss.
Q: Can CPVC be Used for Drinking Water / Potable Water Applications?
CPVC is widely used for potable water distribution globally. However, for projects requiring formal compliance with NSF/ANSI 61 (drinking water standard) — particularly in the US/Canada market — please confirm the NSF certification status with us directly before specifying. We are currently pursuing NSF/ANSI 61 certification and expect to complete this in 2025

Standard documentation includes: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, and Material/Mill Test Certificate. Additional documents such as Certificate of Origin, SGS/third-party inspection reports, and customs forms can be arranged upon request.
